Status Report

Greenway and trail are okay.

We had one day of no overflow at the concrete ford but now there is a five-foot wide overflow. It is easily passable.

On the west side of the big dirt hill on the south side of the lake, the inside lane of the trail is washed away so be careful.

Marina is due to open at the end of July.

Plans are for restrooms at the halfway points on each side of the lake, a large parking lot and restrooms at the Linville Road end of the lake, and a large parking lot, playground, shelters, and restrooms near the eastern end of the bridge on the north side of the lake.

Hopefully, there are also plans to restore the surface of the trail.
