Greenway and trail are still good. Standing water on greenway sidewalk and flowing water in the concrete ford but both are easily passable.

Lots of traffic on the trail today: bikes, hikers, runners, dogs, horses, and deer.

Flooding improved. Standing water in sidewalk valley and couple of inches overflow in concrete dip but both are easily passable.

You can walk bike through the Reynolda Road bridge construction area since they are not working on it over the holiday weekend.

The trail is firm with no standing water. Some ruts are deeper and larger; some ruts are already down to bedrock so they can't get any deeper.

Salem Creek is high and rushing so I didn't bother following the greenway to the dam since the ford area would be impassable. At the Reynolds Park Road bridge detour, I just stayed on Renolds Park Road and then took Salem Lake Road to the lake. This way only adds a mile to the total ride but it adds lots of hills.

Greenway below dam WILL be flooded and impassable for the next few days from last night's rain and more rain is expected over the next few days.

Trail will be in poor shape for days and should be avoided. It will be very soggy and rutted. Bicycles tracks will cause even more rutting on the soft surface.

With the soggy ground and high winds, trees will probably be down.

Even after the rain finally stops and the sun comes out, the greenway and trail will have problems for many days.
